Major corporation located in Dallas, TX, is seeking an individual who will be responsible for  property tax negotiation and audit in various states as they relate to real estate matters and personal property assets.

• Negotiate with landlords? representatives on complex Real and Personal Property tax payment/reimbursement.
• Review potential tax saving strategies.
• Review Personal Property Audits and negotiate with Assessment Appraiser/Auditors.
• Analyze assessment notices and determine course of action.
• Interact with real estate professionals on tax law to negotiate Real Estate Assessments.
• File formal appeals and prepare for hearings on Real and Personal Property Assessments.
• Represent corporation in formal and informal negotiations at appeal hearings.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate.
• Proven negotiating skills.
• CMI designation or candidate preferred.
• Strong experience in addressing Appeal Boards in Trial Court like settings.
• Knowledge of Appraisal, Property Tax-Personal and Real
• Able to travel 30-35% first year.
